ice pop So this is Christmas, what have you done…?

I’ve made my very first Christmas Tree Icy Pop. Inspired by Martha Stewart’s ice pop recipe and the new set of cookie cutters I’ve bought for Christmas, here’s the simple and fail-proof recipe for a refreshing icy snack.

What you will need:

  • Ice- pop mold
  • white grape juice
  • water melon
  • Cookie Cutters (Christmas theme)

Method:

  1. Cut water melon into 1 cm thick slices
  2. Cut out the shape of a Christmas Tree with cookie cutters
  3. Fit water melon Christmas tree onto the ice-pop stick
  4. pour white grape juice into ice-pop mold until it is 3/4 filled
  5. dip ice-pop stick with water melon Christmas tree into the mold and freeze for 2 hours

Tips:

  • If you are looking for cheap and good ice-pop molds, try Daiso. I’ve got mine at 2 dollars for a set of 4 ice-pop molds in a set.
  • If you are making for 1 or 2 pax, replace white grape juice with Qoo can drink. A can is just nice for 2 ice-pops.
  • The recipe is great for birthday parties  and other occasions too. Simple change the shape of the water melon to fit the occasion.
